347-20 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea
i love hongdae street!!! lots of places to shop including street markets, stores, claw machines, and good food! it has a similar vibe to myeongdong but more street markety if you know what i mean. both are great places! definitely one of my favorite spots in korea!! would go again when i come back in the future :) plus that big ice cream cone was about $1.50 in usd or less!!
Lively area perfect for food, drinks, and a fun night out Hongdae Street is a great stop if you’re looking for a casual and vibrant night out. The area is close to a university, so the vibe is young, energetic, and laid-back. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, and most spots offer good quality food and affordable drinks. It does get pretty crowded, but not in an overwhelming way — you can still walk around comfortably and find a seat at most restaurants without much trouble. While the atmosphere is definitely fun and worth experiencing at least once, you’ll find similar vibes in other areas of Seoul, so it’s not exactly one-of-a-kind. Still, it’s a solid choice for a night out, especially if you're into street food, people-watching, or bar hopping. Definitely recommended if you're nearby or want a taste of Seoul's youthful nightlife scene. More pics at my IG: @ogolphotos
Very lively street with lots of shops and food stalls. The vibe is really young due to presence of young Koreans in the area. I would suggest to buy clothing in the area since there a lot of clothing shops and they are relatively cheap but of good quality.
One of the most crowded and busiest street in Soup I guess. But you can find so many attractions around this street. From live band until street dance. Lots of cafes and store to stop by ?
