Such a lovely book street. Definitely a haven for book lovers. You will defintely enjoy looking around. Some stores sells souvenir stuffs. Some stores also has stationery stuffs. I even got a Jujutsu Kaisen stickers from here. Great place to buy gifts for loved ones too. We also saw a cafe here . Definitely a must visit for book lovers.
Overhyped. It’s a nice short street, only worth going because it’s directly next to the post office. Might have some nice postcards, but that’s about it. There’s a normal looking cafe (not insta worthy) , some street artist doing caricature. But really, that’s about it. Maybe i had too high expectations. The books are all in Vietnamese. The street is a nice photo point overlooking the Notre Dame. Since there’s nothing much to do in Saigon, you could put this in your itinerary. Sorry for the honest review.
Absolutely blown away with this book street. I visited during public holiday and it was pleasantly crowded. There were so many bookshops and all of them were amazing. Some shops had really wide selection of books even in English. I got myself postcards, notebook, and bookmarks with good prices and again, all of them were pretty that you’d regret for not getting. If I visit HCMC again, I’ll definitely go back here again.
A lovely and well-developed book street—clean, charming, and full of character. Besides books, you can find unique, personalized souvenirs too. The atmosphere is great for a relaxed stroll. I’d recommend visiting around 5 PM for fewer crowds and better photo opportunities. Definitely worth a stop!
