Can pay at reception or online. We paid online and received a gift of a framed etched light of the statue. Definitely worth the visit. Very professional and respectful place to visit. Lots of tourist but very spacious so not cramped. Lots of things to do...visit the art museum, watch a show, tour the statue etc. We were taught how to play instruments in main lobby. Star bucks was inside as well which was great. Free refreshment in the restaurant as well. This was very tidy and had a great view. Tour guide spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. Overall a very good experience and definitely worth visiting.

Despite the statue being visible almost everywhere in Bali, and having been to Bali many times, we had not actually been to the park. We initially visited early in the morning (just after opening) and got the ticket that included going inside the statue, which is well worth it. The park itself is huge, and very well maintained. There are plenty of food and drink options as well. Being there early in the morning meant minimal crowds and we got to enjoy the park without feeling rushed. When we were leaving we got a return stamp and came back at night, which was even more amazing (and quieter!!). It is really well set up, you can borrow a umbrella for sun protection (highly recommend) and there are so many photo opportunities. Parking is easy and you can get a ride to the entry point. The night views are amazing and the temperature is cooler for walking around.

Impressive Statue, but Very Commercial Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park is home to an awe-inspiring 400-feet tall statue truly a remarkable piece of art and engineering. The park also features massive stone sculptures, scenic viewpoints, old limestone quarries with water, and occasional cultural dance performances, which add to the experience. However, the place feels overly commercialized. Free umbrellas aren’t available for everyone, and you can’t go up inside the statue unless you pay a significantly higher fee, which is not included in the main ticket. Even then, there’s nothing much inside just photos and a shopping mall setup. Be prepared for a lot of walking, as the park is quite spread out. It’s a private park, so everything comes with a price tag, but still a decent experience if you love grand structures and photo spots.

A fabulous experience. The park is modern, immaculately clean, and beautiful. The star attraction is the enormous statue of Garuda and Wisnu. Entry to the park is cheap, with additional options for a buggy to the top and a tour of the higher floors of the statue. Don't miss the rest of the park - there are several other cultural icons and a lovely eating district near the exit.

An amazing sculpture park with the main attraction being a huge statue. I paid for the additional ticket that allowed you to visit the inside, and it was definitely worth it. How they designed and built the statue is shown in intricate detail (which is good if you like that kind of thing like me). You also get a nice view from the top and some glass floors to see the inner steel works. The surrounding parks are also beautifully sculptured, and the site is not even complete at this review. I will be sure to return in a few years once it is all finished.
