It took less than 30 minutes to reach the peak and see the view of Taipei 101 from afar. It's very quiet and there aren't many people at night. The path is just a long staircase inside the park. I recommend people to go.

Considered a rather secret hiking spot amongst locals, you get excellent views of Taipei 101 without the crowds. It is a great alternative to the night views similar to those from the Elephant Mountain - although it won't be the same since Fuzhoushan is farther from Xinyi District and Taipei 101. The hike itself is easy (100m above sea level) but still allows you to have some good exercise with lush green forests. There are multiple entrances to the park. One I recommend is through Fuyang Eco Park, which is another beautiful conservation area with trails leading up to Fuzhoushan. However, some of the paths and signs could be maintained better. There are three pavilions (涼亭) or observation areas on the mountain, numbered 1, 2 and 3, with 2nd and 3rd being the highest and having the best views. Fuzhoushan is an excellent spot to escape the city - right in the middle of the city.

Easy climb to get the best view of Taipei 101.

Watched a stunning red sunset from here. Perfect place to end my first day in Taipei. Lots of stairs but easily can be ascended at a pace that suits you. Not much of a crowd - I watched the sunset with one other person. Nice to take a bit of a breather from it all
