One of the highlights for me was the outdoor park surrounding the museum. The vast green space adorned with golden and red leaves created a breathtaking sight. The park is not only kid-friendly, with plenty of space for little ones to run and play, but it is also suitable for seniors who can enjoy leisurely walks amidst nature's beauty. I highly recommend trying the sencha and red bean paste mochi during your visit. The flavors are delightful and perfectly complement the serene atmosphere of the museum and park. For a truly magical experience, I suggest planning your visit around 3-4 pm to catch the mesmerizing sunset. We spent an hour in this museum before heading to the Osaka Castle. They have walk-in tickets available for tourists and the commentary is available in English. The museum is more like a private collection with a small garden so please expect a 40-90 min of visit.

An incredible little museum, which when we were attending had some beautiful very old Japanese pieces. The museum staff were very friendly and helpful, and the museum includes a fully English description of all the pieces which made our visit so much better. It also has a beautiful place serving matcha and dango and an absolutely incredible garden that was beautiful to sit in in it's own right. Would highly recommend this over the main Osaka museum.

A private art boutique museum right next to JR station, spending an hour here is more than enough. It is currently showing 14-18th centuries’ Japanese and Chinese antiques, not particularly interesting while the exhibition is relatively small with Japanese only explanations. After visiting the exhibition, the place will guide you to the garden with traditional Japanese gardening landscape, definitely worth the visit- the park itself is free to enter by the left entrance of the place. The lobby area is very nice that you can get a set of hand mixed tea (Matcha , Sencha etc) in unique ceramic containers, with 2 bean paste snacks, costs ¥500 per set.
