A large and open park, Fitzroy Gardens is a beautiful place to be when the day is just right. Whether is exercise or just admiring the foliage, the park let's you do it all, both directly under the sky or with the shelter provided by the trees. In addition to that, it's quite feasible to do whatever it is you want to do without bumping into someone else due to the size of the place.

I had a lovely stroll through Fitzroy Gardens. It's a quiet, multifaceted, green space well worth the walk and well worth your time. I spent about an hour exploring, and I could have easily spent longer. Fitzroy Gardens are worth a visit during a trip to Melbourne.

These gardens are absolutely gorgeous. It is reminiscent of Central Park in New York. It is quiet and a nice recluse from the bustling city smatterings of gorgeous fountains all throughout as well as art pieces. I highly recommend anybody to come visit Fitzroy Gardens even if it is just to lie down in the shade and listen to the birds

Fitzroy Gardens is a beautifully maintained park offering a peaceful retreat just moments from Melbourne’s bustling CBD. Its wide, elm-lined pathways, expansive lawns, and seasonal floral displays create an inviting space for both locals and visitors. The gardens are rich in history, featuring landmarks like Cooks’ Cottage, which was transported from England and reassembled here in 1934, and the Fairies’ Tree, adorned with whimsical carvings. The Conservatory showcases vibrant plant displays throughout the year, adding to the garden’s charm. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely stroll, a quiet picnic, or exploring the historical features, Fitzroy Gardens provides a serene environment to relax and appreciate nature in the city.
