Large park with various facilities on site - public toilets (north side toilets seem cleaner than the south ones), playgrounds (south side bigger and fenced, both north and south have BBQs), table-tennis table, tennis courts, basketball half court, lawn bowls, skate park, ovals. About half of the east side is designated dog off-leash area, so I'd picnic on the west side instead. Alcohol consumption permitted between 9am and 9pm. A good walk to this gardens. It was nice with trees to allow for a cooler walk. There's an off-leash and on-leash section for the pups.

Dog-friendly, well-maintained, and easily accessible by tram or bike, it’s the perfect place to relax, reconnect, and recharge in the heart of Fitzroy.

One of those secret locations that the locals know but outsiders are blissfully unaware. This place is full of sports options from footie, tennis, cricket and basketball. Good vibe on weekends and perfect for families. Lots of great cafes and food options nearby
