Punggol Promenade Nature Walk, 829325
A small island located at the north of punggol. It's natural habitat reminds me of army days where we walk on the track and hear the natural sounds in the jungle. There is only one toilet spotted near the west entrance to the island. It is a good getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Good place to cycle too.
Wonderful trail with nature, the sea, the beach and the island. Sea eagles flying overhead & migratory green parrots squawking from tree to tree. Butterflies appearing literally flying in front of our eyes before fluttering away. A large monitor lizard bending from side to side as it walked with its distinctive gait?
It’s a small island close to nature, perfect for relaxing walks, slow strolls, jogging, and cycling. The air is fresh, with plenty of trees and small flowers. It’s an ideal place to visit on weekends to unwind and find some peace.
?Coney Island is an island located off the northeastern coast of Singapore. ???⬛The Island, now a park managed by NParks, offers a diverse habitat of the Island's prominent Casuarina trees, Grasslands, coastal trees, and forested area. ⛱️There are several beaches with scenic coastal views. ?A network of cycling path wounds around the Island Park. ?And a short boardwalk that leads to the beach. Fun fact: ?Coney Island also known as Palau Serangoon was once owned by Haw Par Brothers who built a villa on it, known as Haw Par Beach Villa. ?The island later went thorough several hands before the Singapore Government own it. ?It was then reclaimed to a larger area several times it's original size. In the 1970s, Coney Island was an alternative picnic venue for many who wish to be away from the more crowded traditional site. ?It used to be accessible only by ferry from Punggol Jetty before land bridges were built.
