Hello, I had the most wonderful experience at your park today! My friend and I rented mountain bikes and a 1/2 day pass. This experience was one of the best travel experiences I have ever had. The park is easy to get to and I felt we were remote even though it is so close to the city. The gear and bike I rented was high quality and I did not feel like I was using rental gear. Aside from the great trails and amazing views I think what made this so special was the people who work for your park. Everyone is so friendly and helpful as well as enthusiastic about their job. And this includes the cafe staff. Additionally, I had previously emailed a question to your staff and I received a prompt courteous response within minutes. I want to send a special recognition to the guy running the bike rental counter at 9am on Sat, 8/3/2025. I forgot his name, sorry. He was so cool and answered all our questions.
Ruscoe and Sara were amazing! We had a large group of 8. Unfortunately, we were unable to do the full zipline due to weather conditions, but we did the one that was open and Sara and Ruscoe were wonderful! They were funny and made the experience fun and memorable even for those of us who were scared! They were patient and engaging with every person in our group. I HIGHLY recommend the zipline experience for anyone! We also did the chairlift and the views were incredible!
We went zip lining today and had the best time, the park is a brilliant facility for families and adventurers. We had two fun, friendly and chatty guides, Dan and Roscoe, who were brilliant at easing the nerves and chatting to everyone in the group. They were both brilliant at their job and very knowledgeable about the park and safety. The experience was fantastic with 2 'warm up' lines and then the main zip lines. Fantastic views throughout the morning of the whole Christchurch panorama and the Southern Alps. We would highly recommend the whole experience.
Reasonable value , for a great day of downhill trails . Seniors discount is appreciated. Weather dependant for some trails being open . Rocky in the upper section , but pine forest very enjoyable. Great cafe . Midweek best for lack of lift queues .
It was a great experience. Reaching the top after the hike is very fulfilling. Just prepare your water bottle and legs for the 1 .5 hours of walk . It is rewarding by the end with the free chairlift going down. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
