98 Krabi, Tambon Talat Nuea, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000, Thailand
It’s live museum which means the owners still live there upstairs. Surprisingly, we received a tour by the owner (it was not sth we expected, as she gathered us during our wandering around the house and proposed that she can tell us more about the place). It was really interesting, she explained to us a lot about the house and her family, we could feel a lot of positive energy. I think it was one of the most interesting museums I’ve visited. For me it’s must visit while in Phuket old town area.
Such a lovely museum! You can feel the warmth and inviting atmosphere by looking at the antiques furniture and vintage pieces of this family. Thank you for the opportunity to see this beautiful home - mix of Chinese, Thai and western styles ? The guides were super nice and knowledgeable and told us interesting stories in English ♥️
Visited on the weekend and was very grateful to get a guided tour. The guide was amazing and really shared the history of the house, family and local customs. As there are no descriptions, this really made the visit that much more enjoyable!
The house telling stories of the past and embodying the spirit of preserving values of Phuket culture from King Chulalongkorn to King Bhumibol Adulyadej regime. Very impressed. Great guides, fluent in Thai, Chinese and English. Incredible love story too. The owners are so nice, articulate and charming. They still live there. The diamond of Phuket city.
Connected to history and culture, The Fifth Owner is very good at explaining everything in detail! I had a great time there; the entry fee of 150 baht is totally worth it!
