Kamphaeng Phet 3 Rd, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900, Thailand
This is a became my favourite park in Bangkok there are lakes and a lot of grass to sit and have a cute picnic. There are bridges birds and so many trees with tons of squirrels that you can feed. It’s such a peaceful place to be. I really love the flowers there as well. The whole vibe is amazing and it looks like it just came out of a Korean drama. I would recommend going around 5 pm to get some sunlight sunset and nighttime because during the day it’s too hot, but of course the trees provide a very good shadow.
This is one of four parks in this area. Bounded by two roads, it's quite a narrow park in relation to the others, but long running all the way to the end of this green space. Lots of trees and seating with a lake crossed by several foot bridges. There are also several workout areas with static equipment. The place is well maintained, and a number of gardeners were taking care of the grass and flower beds when I was there.
One of the biggest public parks in Bangkok. A long enough walking and running trail which is immersed in the leafy trees and greeny grass provides the visitors and athletes a great experience. Normally crowded with people who come and work out daily in the evenings. But since the park opens till 22:00 like many other parks in Bangkok, you can enjoy a serene evening walk. The park has freely accessible workout equipments in different parts. One will feel safe as there are security officers ?♀️ all over the park. Good for picnics and family outings as well.
I think for 6-7am run it’s good. Later I guess will be too hot. Didn’t see running fountains and later gets super busy. Outside drivers will overcharge - not nice. Lanes are about 3k so can run 6k or more, lots of birds and squirreled and saw a monitor lizard - quite nice but maybe its infestation?! Not sure when it becomes unhygienic and not cute.
Chatuchak Park is a peaceful green escape in Bangkok, complete with shady trees, walking paths, and a scenic lake. It’s perfect for relaxing after a day at the Chatuchak market nearby l. Easy to reach by BTS or MRT, and great for a quiet stroll or picnic.
