I Loved visiting this park so much!!! It’s a must visit if you are in New York & want to experience some peace and quiet being in the city!! Beautiful Bethesda fountain & terrace, the iconic Bow bridge, the lake where you can go boating as well, a castle and the sheep’s meadow.. Wooowww!!! Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will be back for the spots I missed to cover in this trip..
Central Park is a breathtaking oasis in the heart of New York City. Spanning over 800 acres, it offers a perfect blend of nature, recreation, and culture. Whether you’re strolling along tree-lined paths, boating on the lake, or enjoying performances at the open-air theater, there’s something for everyone. It’s a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists.
We visited Central Park on Saturday, and were fortunate to experience the vibrant Japan Day Parade happening along Central Park West. The parade featured traditional Japanese performances, including taiko drumming, folk dances, and martial arts demonstrations. It was a delightful surprise that added cultural richness to our park visit. Central Park itself was as beautiful as ever, with lush greenery and scenic spots perfect for relaxation and photography. The combination of the park’s natural beauty and the lively parade made for an unforgettable experience. If you’re in NYC during spring, a visit to Central Park is a must, especially when special events like the Japan Day Parade are taking place.
Central Park is truly a magical escape right in the heart of New York City. No matter the season, it always offers something special—lush greenery in the summer, vibrant foliage in the fall, peaceful snow-covered paths in the winter, and blooming flowers in the spring. Whether you’re taking a quiet walk, having a picnic, rowing on the lake, or just people-watching on a sunny afternoon, there’s a calm and beauty here that’s hard to find anywhere else in the city. It’s a place that makes you slow down and smile. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike!
Central Park is my personal sanctuary in the middle of the city. I’ve been living nearby for over a year now, and I still haven’t walked through every corner — that’s how vast, beautiful, and full of surprises it is. From early morning runs to slow evening walks, it always feels safe and peaceful. There’s park security and police presence, which makes even solo walks in the evening feel comfortable. I love having picnics with friends on the lawns — some open from 9 AM, others from 11 — and just soaking in the beauty of it all. Feeding the squirrels is my little ritual — they’re so fluffy and adorable! It’s honestly the perfect place to breathe, slow down, and feel connected — even in the heart of New York City.
