What an awesome place ! I have always driven past this place as a kid when we use to go to auckand as a kid so I thought lets fill that curiosity and check it out, and I can tell you I was not disappointed, this place is so unique and branches away from your everyday zoo. From the variety of animals and insects to the cleanliness and friendless this place offers is superb... staff were friendly and helpful my son absolutely loved the dinosaurs and the train ride was awesome, they even take you for two loops of the track ! Well worth the money this place and I highly recommend any family or even if your by yourself it doesn't matter, this place will cater to those needs.
Loved going, very friendly staff and accommodating. Was able to store bags there as we had our flight the same day. Favourite part was watching the saltwater crocodile being fed. Staff were well informed on the animals and put on a great show. Butterfly creek was super awesome with heaps of animals that looked well kept. The cafe was a bit lack luster with the chips feeling like they were put in an air fryer.
Had a great family fun day out, perfect place for toddlers and it is also pram friendly. Lots to see and do. Has a playground and an obstacle course for the kids to play on. Can pet and feed the farm animals which is cool and we got to watch the crocs get fed. It's a little expensive but enjoyed that it wasn't chaotic and there was sufficient parking.
Did the private encounter with the Tamarins. Woo was our Zookeeper for the encounter and was excellent. He was very informative and took great care of us and the monkeys. We really enjoyed feeding them and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in seeing the animals up close.
Nice place for kids and toddlers, train ride was enjoyable. Crocodile show was worth a watch. Friendly staff, spare you 2-4 hours and there is a cafe there for lunch. There is an option for only train ride if you don’t want to explore the whole set.
