Beautiful viewpoint of south west bay of phuket Island. Most people take a vehicle to the main road entrance but walking is possible but it's just along the side of the busy main road. Then there is almost 2km of an uneven dirt track. There are quads and buggies for rent from there, which looked like a lot of fun. I walked. It's quite steep, but there is a cool bar/restaurant with another great view mid way. The final part is a 200m steep forest path to the viewpoint.

Fantastic viewpoint. Maps tells you to drive all the way in but the road terrain isn't very friendly for your average SUV. Upon turning in from the road, you'll be greeted by a low concrete wall off to your right after driving in a little. Park there (there'll probably be a car of two already parked), continue the rest on foot. It isn't a dirty hike, but its a distance (about 2km each way) Only toward the end will you have to hike for real, up a decent incline for around 20 minutes to the viewpoint. The area is huge up there, and it'll be a fantastic spot for a sunrise/sunset. Total hike from the car and back took about 1.5-2 hours (without any rush)

This view is something beyond expectations! However, there’re several ways , how you can go there: by car, renting a bike or local taxi or using your legs. If you decided to walk there cover your head, take water, wear proper shoes and be prepared to walk up around 2 km. After you reached the hill, you will have to climb the jungle (even if you came by transport) around 15 min. The main road is dusty so cover your nose if you’re allergic. Overall this place worths the visit 100%!

Nice viewpoint, especially at sunset or dawn. I read some of the reviews and rushed up there to see the sunset and got there way too early. :-D You can drive quite easily up to the black rock with Pa Hindum sign (see pictures, I got there on a small scooter) and then turn to the left up the hill. If you are in a good shape, you can get to the viewpoint in 5 minutes or less.

The place is still pure. There’s no a lot of tourists. The way up to the hilltop is quite challenging. The view is stunning up there.
