Highly recommended. We went up to the 49th floor of the Sky-Line lookout. Fantastic views really giving an appreciation of how large Saigon is; with the Saigon River snaking through the city - a major shipping route. So, visiting is definitely worth the 360 degrees view. There is also a brief history from when the tower was built and some about traditional Vietnamese clothes. Good photos; lots of the different landmarks in the city; and a bottle of free water when you get the ticket. It has it all.

This is definitely worth a visit as it's in the heart of the city, and you can spot many city sights from the 360° view, including the Saigon Post Office, Ben Thanh Market, cafe apartment and Landmark 81 tower. The viewing platform is on 49th floor, just below the helipad. It's about half the cost of going up the 81 tower and more central to the city. You get a bottle of water, and there are free binoculars to use. There is a costume display at the top, and some information about the tower which is interesting. It wasn't busy when we went on a Friday afternoon.

Definitely worth visiting, especially during the night time. You will see a stunning panorama of the city and a few surprises. The viewing deck is located on the 49th floor - 35 sec trip by the fast elevator. Definitely must see place!

Tickets are required to ride to the observation deck via a very fast elevator. The views are 360 degrees from the observation area. I would definitely go back for evening views now that I know you can see the entire city below. The pleasant surprise is that you can pick up a free bottle of water from the small gift shop counter on this area. This is definitely a must-do visit if you'd like to see a layout of the Saigon River and the surrounding city.

From craning your neck muscles to see where the top of this building is, within seconds you will teleport to up the 48 floors in seconds which the speed will make your eardrums pop. Once you step of the elevator you are greeted with 360 degree views of the sprawling city for as far as the eye can see. Free binoculars provide the ability to see on a street level the happenings in any direction. I glanced in one and witnessed a police officer pulling someone over. Sadly did not see any topless sunbathers on roofs however. You are also provided 1 free bottle of water. A custom it seems in many places here. There is some good history on the city, culture, fashion art and engineering displayed on the walls. Also women working on intricate stick art.
