Springbrook National Park, Repeater Station Rd, Springbrook NSW 4213, Australia
This is absolutely one of my most favourite places in Springbrook as well as Queensland and Australia in general. It's a beautiful short walk through an enchanted faerie glade to an incredible look out on a good weather day. This time we went to see the sunrise. Remember to stop and enjoy connecting with the ancient trees and forest spirits along the way. This day some cute lil snail friends came to say hello also. Enjoy ?
I headed to Best of All Lookout, expecting an incredible view, but nature had other plans. The weather was cloudy, and instead of a panorama of the Gold Coast and mountains, I saw nothing but thick fog. The atmosphere was mysterious, even a bit mystical, but of course, not what I had hoped for. What you should know: • If the day is foggy, the chances of seeing the view are almost zero. • The walk is short (about 600 meters), so it’s still worth going up. • On a clear day, the panorama is breathtaking! Conclusion: The spot is definitely worth visiting, but only on a clear day. I wasn’t lucky, so I’ll probably have to come back again!
On a beautiful clear day you can see all the way to the coast. Great view of Mt Warning and the Tweed Valley. Sealed pathway all the way to the lookout. Sneaky up hill walk on the way back to carpark. Beautiful forest. Had to wait for a carpark to become available. We visited on a public holiday.
Beautiful view, you can truly see so much. A very short walk from the carpark.
It is as beautiful as the main lookout but this one only gives you view of the surrounding mountains. Short walk from parking lot - 350 meters or 0.21 miles.
