We bring our kids here to run around and chase each other. The gardens are such a perfect place to let your toddlers burn off some energy in the mornings :)

Amazing gardens. The rose garden is particularly​ beautiful.

A spacious quiet garden. Everything is neatly maintained. Just have a nice walk in the garden and enjoy.

This is an open patch of green space where archery was the leisure of choice by early 20th century visitors to the Botanic Garden grounds. What we found most interesting about the Archery Lawn where the giant Sequoia trees which lined the green. These were remarkable specimen and what we remember most about this particular area of the Christchurch Botanic Garden.

Beautiful gardens, peaceful and nice environment. Great to see ducks and wildlife enjoying.
