Jl. Raya Pengosekan Ubud, Ubud, Kecamatan Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80571, Indonesia
Very beautiful. Admission fee includes an informational book with map and pictures and a voucher for free drink. The traditional Bali museum and the modern art museum are a must see.
Possibly an essential if you are an artist or art lover. 150 000 IDR entry fee includes booklet & tea or coffee. The grounds are stunning & deeply relaxing. There are a number of buildings. Some art blew me away. Mostly paintings are on display. Whilst they are in buildings there is no humidity or other monitoring to perserve these works. Quite sad really.
Very interesting house and art to see. Also there are workshops outside. With a ticket, you also get a coffee or tea in their restaurant which is amazing relax zone to spend some time. Besides there are a lot of stuff there, you can not hear any of them. They all walk silently and speak with kidness. Art houses are huge and open spaces between them make it all together a wonderful experience, regarding the architecture and also arts.
The Museum at ARMA is a real gem. The art on display is varied and beautifully arranged. In addition, there are many opportunities to linger here. Another big plus is that the area offers you the opportunity to watch artists at work.
Interesting contemporary collection of paintings and traditional Balinese paintings. This was my favorite on this visit, very large portrait, photo print image by Dutch artist Ted Van der Hulst. Galleries set in a lovely garden. Complimentary tea/ coffee in the cafe included in ticket. Recommend a visit if you are in Ubud
