Jln Parameswara, Banda Hilir, 78000 Alor Gajah, Melaka, Malaysia
A ruin of once magnificent Portuguese fort. This place will give you glimpses of past stories and events that took place. It's surrounded by lush greenery and splendid view of Melaka Hill. Once you reach here, it feels like modern life and history collide. If you want to travel and enjoy the historical and nature beauty of it without crowd, go in the morning before 09:00 but if you want to view sunset just go around 16:30
I visited this historical site in the morning, and it was a great experience. The old building is fascinating, and you can explore everything within 16 minutes. There is also a viewpoint where you can see a beautiful city view. If you plan to visit, avoid going during midday as the temperature can be very high, making it uncomfortable. The best times to visit are in the morning or evening. If you visit in the evening or at night, the place looks stunning with the lights. You can also take great photos here. Highly recommended for history lovers and those who enjoy scenic views!
Melaka has not lost this charms for years, that we visited this place. It still have its Portuguese heritage. great red buildings and strong sense of Nyonya culture. Foods are still very good here. This is World Tour Melaka Year 2025!
I joined a tour group from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca. The travel time is 2–3 hrs each way. It is good to see Malacca if you love history, since it has many historical places. It is a UNESCO-recognized landmark.
The oldest building remains are present of ancient city. Nice place to visit. You need almost 2 days to visit all the old areas of melaka
