Nestled in Lucky Garden, Bangsar, Ibu Ruby's is the passion project of Muhammad Imran Abdullah, a German Muslim convert and co-founder of Positano Risto. Inspired by his childhood memories of meals prepared by a family helper in Jakarta in 1979, Imran created Ibu Ruby's to honour her legacy and share those cherished flavours.
Together with Chef Afique, formerly of EQ Kuala Lumpur's Nipah Cafe, Imran serves dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and homemade sauces, free from artificial additives. The menu boasts favourites like Nasi Lemak Ayam Kalasan (RM18.95), Nasi Ayam Penyet (RM18.95), and the signature Nasi Ambeng Ayam Rendang (RM29.95).
