It is conveniently located near Nijo JR and subway station, with bus stops nearby. Walking distance to Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. The double room was a little small with access to bed only on one side. Staff speak good English. Rooms serviced every three days, but towels are replaced daily. The large heated baths offer a traditional Japanese bathing experience (so no clothes). They are clean, easy to use, and I didn't encounter another person in three visits. Overall, much cheaper and preferable to me than staying at a large, expensive chain hotel.
