Great hostels for groups. We went with a class and everything went perfectly. Breakfast was good, dinner was generally good as well. Packed lunches were a bit too light, but it worked fine. The rooms are quite small but they all have a bathroom, which is really practical. 12-minute walk to the tube, calm neighborhood.

Great experience. The people are super nice . The hostel is placed in a beautiful neighbourhood and it´s near public transport. The rooms are clean and comfortable (if I have to say a but...it would be that showers are small and with no curtains so all the bath get wet). Nice experience and good price! For sure we will repeat!

Absolutely high standards! Very clean, fresh, well maintained. In a quiet location just off Salter Road. The staff were so polite and friendly and very helpful. The room looked new and clean with an en-suite toilet and shower. There is breakfast/dinner room with sockets fir charging phones. A very pleasant stay! Highly recommend ? A Coop shop is nearby, a pub and a lovely riverside walk. There is also the Brunel Museum and delightful park. Not far from the Underground Tube and the C10 bus route.

Stayed overnight with my teenage children on a self catering mini break. Great facilities, cheap bar, friendly staff and really secure. If you are looking for a no frills, cheap place to stay in London then this is it

Bedroom was clean and comfortable, and the ensuite toilet was good. Central location, good transport options, good local supermarkets & pub. The ensuite shower-room light was broken so showers were in pitch black, and the shower curtain stank horrifically. Continental Breakfast is very poor value for money - buy the full breakfast or just stock up at the local supermarket. Reception staff were nice, but didn't give us our towels or breakfast ticket (which we had paid for), so had to make several trips to reception. In that ordeal, it took 3 members of kitchen staff to find my name on the breakfast register, after the first two members of staff barely looked at the register before deciding to harshly accost me, and treat me as if I'm intellectually disabled. I got a profuse apology from the lady who was harshest once it was established I was right, but she should never have treated any person like that irrespective of the circumstances. It was demeaning and unnecessarily adversarial. Lots of groups of school children with teachers. 2/3 school teachers didn't want any other hostel visitors attending breakfast, despite breakfast time being the same for all customers, and one (thankfully on my final day) made all other customers sit in a niche corner of the canteen far away from the breakfast bar - and then stood over all of us like an invigilator. If schools want exclusive access to the canteen, they should arrange this with the hostel rather than by intimidating other customers.
