I enjoyed my one night stay here. Though simple, the room is very comfortable. The king bed was huge cos it’s 2 super single joined together. Essential toiletries provided. 20 min drive from CIQ. Water temperature is good and aircon can be adjusted. Had a good sleep. Will definitely come again

Stayed for a couple of weeks. This hotel quite nice, the room kinda large enough and spacious. All staff very nice, they provide ammenities everyday. The price quite affordable. Close to so many restaurant around Permas Jaya, even AEON.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before, which is why I chose to return. However, my most recent stay was disappointing. The experience was ruined by the terrible service, mainly due to the unprofessional and disrespectful attitude of the staff, the night shift receptionist named Wan.

First, the room itself had multiple issues. The bathroom was a complete disaster—when taking a shower, the water didn’t drain properly and instead flowed towards the door, creating a huge mess. On top of that, the room access key and lock were malfunctioning. We had to pull the door and scan multiple times before it finally opened, and even then, the card often failed to work.

To make things worse, housekeeping was beyond careless. We found an old ice bag left in the refrigerator from a previous guest, which had melted and caused the floor to become wet. This clearly shows that housekeeping didn’t bother to check or clean the fridge. If that wasn’t bad enough, the bed sheets and quilt had multiple stains, making us question the hygiene standards of this hotel.

When we reported these issues and requested a room change, Wan at the reception refused. While we understood that changing rooms might not be possible, what really made us furious was his terrible attitude. Instead of providing proper customer service, he kept us waiting indefinitely, claiming that he needed to get permission from his boss but never following up. After a long wait, I had to approach him again, only to be given a ridiculous excuse that he had called our room but no one picked up. How is that an excuse? If there was no answer, shouldn’t a responsible staff member come to the room and inform us in person? To make matters worse, the room phone was broken in the first place, meaning his excuse made no sense.

The absolute worst part was how he handled the bathroom issue. Instead of acknowledging the problem, he had the audacity to say, “It’s not a big deal since you’re not sleeping in the toilet.” EXCUSE ME? Is this how you talk to paying guests? His rude and dismissive attitude was completely unacceptable.

This hotel not only has serious maintenance and cleanliness issues but also employs staff who have no sense of customer service. Management seriously needs to train their employees and fix their facilities.

While I might consider staying at this hotel again, I sincerely hope the upper management takes this issue seriously and punishes this staff member accordingly. A hotel’s reputation is built on both its facilities and customer service, and allowing such behavior will only drive guests away.

For the same money, there are definitely better options available. I strongly advise management to improve staff training and ensure that guests receive the service they deserve.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before, which is why I chose to return. However, my most recent stay was disappointing. I was assigned a room facing the back wall of the hotel, which offered no view or natural light. Felt rather claustrophobic. The bathroom also had a very high bathtub with only a rain shower, making it inconvenient and difficult to use, esp to climb in and out with no handle bar for support.

When I requested a room in the other building, the staff quoted an additional RM80 fee of same room type (just one unit away in same building). Upon checking online, I discovered that the cost difference was only less than RM40, which felt misleading and dishonest.

Overall, while my previous stays were satisfactory, however the service and transparency this time round fell short. Have decided not to return and switched to the other hotels in the same area.

This review is the old hotel

Book the room via Agoda. Upon our arrival, we noticed that there were 2 Yangtze hotels. (1 old and 1 new)

We were allocated to the old one.
The aging sign of the hotel already speaks.

We stayed in a family room. Room 408
1. Door is so hard to open and close. ( It's uneven)
2. Towels and linens sign of aging (abit yellowish)
3. Basice toilet amenities provided (disposable toothpaste and toothbrush), soap and shampoo
4. No hooks in the for you to hang you clothes
5. No safe box
6. No slippers
7. Drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided
8. Wardrobe, table and chairs and mini fridge
9. Toilet water sipping don't know from where, since check in the left side of toliet has a small pool of water

It think need to book for the new hotel.

Location is super good, many eateries around, Sunday night market.
