No.37, 解放北路 Kashgar Prefecture, Xinjiang, China, 844000
This is the old Xinjiang Sultan Hotel, now with the name changed. Pretty good hotel, front staff are helpful as they can be. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice, coffee is just instant powder though. My room was spacious and bed super comfortable. Inner rooms don't have windows. The location is awesome. Steps away from Id Kah mosque and lots of busy parts of the old town.
3-star hotel however my room was 5-star. I got a deluxe room as I wanted to assure I had a window. The room was incredible with the finest furniture, fixtures, bedding, towels, pillow, etc. Everything was high-end. Possibly the best bed I've ever slept in. I was disappointed when I arrived in that I needed a refrigerator to store my medicine but I asked the front desk and they had one in the room in 5 minutes. Understand like 99% of Kashgar anything, there is no English spoken at this hotel but they did their very best to translate and converse via apps. Breakfast was very Chinese and many items were not to my taste however they had an abundance of fruits and vegetables which were excellent. Coffee though is derived from a packet with too much sugar but I made my own coffee in my room. Location is incredible. Kashgar Ancient City ground zero. Its in the center of all the fun. There's a huge modern supermarket next door that I believe is open 24 hours. Everything I could have possibly wanted or need was there. GREAT HOTEL
