I stayed at Wise Owl Hostels in Shibuya for a few nights. Overall, it was a decent hostel in a clean area and offered the basics for a budget stay. The location is not bad, about a 15 to 20 minute walk from Shibuya Crossing once you get your bearings. The bathroom had a very strong and foul odour that was hard to ignore, which definitely took away from the experience. I barely saw any staff during my stay beyond the brief check-in, though the process itself was fine. Luggage storage is located by the elevator and is not secure at all, so I highly recommend keeping valuables with you. Each room does have a small personal locker, which helps a bit. If you’re not expecting anything fancy and just need a place to crash, it does the job, but there are definitely areas for improvement.

Excellent hostel! It is comveniently located about 15 min walking from the very busy Shibuya, so perfect to have a good night of sleep and be close to the centre with all the transportation methods. The staff is very helpful. There is a small common area where you can get drinks. I stayed in the 30 pax dorm and it was amazing; the beds are well separated, it was very quiet at all times, comfortable bedding and a box with key to keep your valuables. There were 3 bathrooms on my floor but I never had to wait to use them. The shower was hot and the stream was good, there's soap, shampoo and even conditioner. Overall I'd give it a 10/10 and would highly recommend if you're looking for a budget accomodation in Tokyo!
