We loved this place. We stayed in room 201 which was newly renovated and had all of the luxuries of a new hotel with the charm of an old bnb. Staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. Another pleasant surprise was that the food was really good too. I maybe wasn't expecting that level of food from a small little hotel restaurant. If we pass through this area again we would definitely stay again

Amazing little gem in the suburbia. The lobby and the corridors are true to its heritage. The rooms are modern and our room was far superior to some of the 5 star hotels we have stayed at. Highly recommended.

Love the history of this place! It used to be the Officers Mess when the land belonged to the Wigram airbase & airfield. Great to see you kept the aviation theme going. The rooms are super modern, warm & cosy. Had a great sleep thank you.

I had the best time staying at the Wigram Hotel. Absolutely gorgeous rooms, all polished wood and chandeliers in the hallways. Rooms with personality and modern decor. And my word the bathroom!; fun and funky design, very cool mirror, rain shower head. But that underfloor heating was the best thing ever - just lovely during a cold evening. Excellent restaurant too, meals were superb, great chef. I'd also like to make a shoutout specifically to Thomas and Prabhjot (sorry if i got your name wrong). These were the hosts during my stay, and they were both awesome; friendly and accommodating, nothing was a hassle, really lovely people - you guys made my stay so much better, and i thank you very much for that. Being in suburbia, and away from any main roads, it was also very quiet. The whole place has a nice warm vibe, so much more personality than the big sterile hotels that seem to be everywhere. Will definitely be staying at the Wigram Hotel whenever i'm in Christchurch. It's a hidden gem.
