The room was really clean and tidy! It was a bit small, but the bunk beds were a fun experience. The lady at the front desk was super friendly, and her smile was so warm and welcoming. On our last day, it started raining, and she even offered to lend us her own umbrella — such a kind gesture! It really made our stay in Kyoto feel extra warm and memorable.

Pleasantly surprised! Room is small but nice and bed if comfy. Common areas are really spacious, new and nice. Free snacks and drinks in the evening and morning. Staff is really nice!

It's a long-overdue review, but I really recommend this place! I stayed here for 4 days in November, and it was a pleasure! The rooms were clean and looked exactly like the photos. There are elevators, so don’t worry about your luggage. The location is also great, with plenty of bus stations within walking distance. The shared bathroom was clean and lovely! We were quite skeptical since it was our first time staying at a place without a private bathroom, but it turned out to be our favorite place out of all our stays in Japan. The staff was helpful and friendly. I left my earbuds behind, and they were able to find them and pack them to me in Tokyo. Overall, I had a really lovely stay. Thank you!!

Best place we stayed at in Japan during our trip! Super clean, very friendly staff, free breakfast and snacks, tons of showers and very accessible if you don’t speak fluent Japanese. They are also very understanding, we had a little incident about our timing and they were extremely kind to us, I will definitely stay again next time we visit Japan!
