We upgraded to this hotel once our original hotel booked had no working elevators & bad service. We needed wheelchair access on account of my wife injured herself before our trip. I must say I was VERY happy we switched. The "Rooms division manager" Lachlan was EXTREMELY HELPFUL compared to our other hotel. From the moment I arrived with a taxi that wanted payment (which the other hotel was supposed to have covered, but didn't), Lachlan immediately went out and paid the taxi with no questions asked, then promptly got us a wheelchair to use for the day till our rental wheelchair arrived the next morning. What a breath of fresh air compared to the experience we had at "The Ultimo hotel". Everyone behind the clerks counter were extremely helpful and caring and again Lachlan excelled in his service offering to bring up the luggage while I wheeled up my wife to our room. The location of the hotel was much nicer as well. We were right next to the pickup location for our two tours, and was pretty much central of anything we wanted to see & explore. THANK YOU LACHLAN AND YOUR ENTIRE STAFF for making our visit a very pleasant one. I would highly recommend this hotel should you want to stay in Melbourne.

Great stay! Rooms were clean and spacious. We did receive an accessibility room with a larger shower space and open area as well. Rooms as expected with the usual amenities. Tv connected to phone apps easily to watch own media. Side note not a big fan of the cherry amenities in the bathroom. Person preference. Staff were friendly and able to assist with requests. Buffet was good without being great. Restaurant was nice but basic food fare. Eggs other than Scrambled needed to be requested.

I stayed in the room with the balcony with my mum, and it was amazing. There was plenty of room, and it was super clean and very comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning, but the only reason the room was a 4 and not 5 was because the room i was in was directly above the rooftop bar which is sometimes noisy, especially after dark, but it is really good. When we went to breakfast, the workers were always checking up on us and asking us if we were happy, which I think is really good. The staff are always happy to help. The location is extremely good, right across from the Yarra and southbank, next to a convenient tram stop and plenty of activities nearby. One of my favourite hotels and I can't wait to stay again.

Modern clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. Spend the extra for a high floor room overlooking the river for spectacular views. The glass wall makes the room feel very spacious. Roof top bar is an added bonus with fantastic food and drinks.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Fantastic location for anyone travelling in the cbd (probably not for cars so keep in mind if you have a rental). Rooms are clean, spacious and tidy, bed is comfy and lots of pillow options, shower pressure good. Pool was perfect after a long day exploring. What blew us away was the customer service. Check in and out was smooth and seamless. Staff were friendly, kind and attentive. We had a slight issue with our first room and the staff immediately looked into it for us and offered us a new room. They were proactive with the issue and kindly gave us a bottle of wine as well, fantastic guys! Will definitely be back the next time we are in cbd.
