5 Lower Belgrave St, London SW1W 0NR, United Kingdom
I had the pleasure of staying at the Z Hotel Victoria for 14 days in March. I traveled solo and felt very safe and comfortable there. My room was lovely with 3 windows and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff are all very professional, nice and friendly. I especially found Isabel to be very personable. The lounge/front desk area is very convenient. The complimentary coffe, wine and cheese is a very nice touch. The hotel is 5 minutes from Victoria Station. There are 2 pubs on Lower Belgrave St plus a lot of restaurants in Victoria Station. There are two theaters close to the hotel. It is very convenient to many things to do. The neighborhood is upscale. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed for 3 nights for under £300 over a bank holiday which was reasonable. The rooms were very small but clean and tidy, with enough space to sleep and rest. You definitely get what you pay for. They offer free body/hair wash and a bar of soap, towels and hairdryer are included and so is a bottle of water they refill for you daily and a small assortment of hot drink supplies. The rooms are cleaned every other day but you can speak to desk for different stuff. There is an air con in each room which was very helpful as they get very hot due to lack of windows. A TV is provided with sky on the wall at the foot of the bed. The bed was very firm with feather pillows/duvet but still comfy. No bathroom privacy as a frosted glass slider is all separating you from whoever you share with and the shower is quite small. The Café downstairs and the front desk both operate 24/7 with helpful and friendly staff. There is a lift to access all floors. We booked a windowless room which I found difficult to manage in the morning as pitch black and no air, but if you spend most of the day out it won’t matter and it is cheaper. Occasionally it was hard to sleep as you hear the loud sliding bathroom screen for all rooms near you and snoring/traffic noise. You don’t get free cheese/wine plates, free hot drinks, early check in and late check out if you don’t book directly with them and register to be a Z Member though. Still a fab hotel for the price with a great location and easy access to major stations and bus routes. Would happily stay again.
The hotel is in a great location, literally opposite side of a road from Victoria station. The staff were friendly and everything was clean. Also, for registering as a member on a website you can get a free room upgrade as well as some free treats, coffee, wine. So that’s very nice! I was lucky to have my room upgraded, but even that room was very tiny and had no windows, it was very hot sleeping there, even on a cold night and with AC on. Otherwise, room was very clean and had this little glass shower/toilet cubicle. Generally the experience with the hotel was good.
5* Staff. They are incredible. So hospitable, kind and all of them are a very high level. I'd like to thank the manager, hostess, cleaning staff who all made my stay unforgettable. This hotel is a 5* experience staff wise. I would advise getting a room with a window it's much better. Also the food is actually very good which surprised me. Will definitely be back!
My daughter and I were back in the UK to visit family and spent 3 days at this wonderful convenient hotel so close to Victoria station and theatre's. The staff were amazing and so helpful especially Adan. He seemed to work 24 hrs a day! The breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed the wine and cheese after our long walks.Yes , the rooms are small but we were only there to sleep and having a window really helps. We would definitely return for another visit. Thank you to everyone for making our visit so enjoyable also to Bianca for always making me tea. Definitely a 10 for rating. Penny and Dominique Canada
