Check in was very easy, staff were all incredibly friendly and happy to assist with any queries. Absolutely gorgeous rooms with lovely views of Osaka, especially at night. But the absolute standout from this already delightful and elegant hotel was the air freshener/scent that the hotel uses. It sounds strange, but as soon as you walk into either lobby the smell is just divine. It’s floral and light, but also homey and comforting at the same time. We didn’t get a chance to ask the staff what is used before we checked out, but boy I wish we had. Coming back from a long day out in the city to that beautiful, clean and warm smell was just the highlight of our days in Osaka.
Overall a great hotel and really happy with their service and hospitality. Only wish the bed was bigger. Rooms are great up to date with a nice bath and shower. My only issue is the bed is small for 2 people. I was very surprised compared to Tokyo hotels that an Osaka hotel had a worse bed. Frankly there’s room to increase their 2 person bed sizes as well. There’s a whole foot between the wall and sides of the bed available. Service however is top notch they are an amazing staff. Location is good close to stations as well as any major attractions you want to go to.
Stayed here for about 3 nights and it was an enjoyable experience. The rooms are large for Japan standards and their bathroom/shower set up was so relieving to see after traveling. Staff was friendly and very accommodating as we arrived a little early and they got our room squared away quickly so we could check in. The coin laundry service they offer there was also so convenient and easy to use!! I was so grateful to see a laundry service after traveling. Additionally, sending our luggage out to our next hotel was easy and the staff was very helpful. The only downfall was the bed. Both my partner and I are tall over 5’9 and 5’10. The bed was a full or a twin so being tall and both in that bed was extremely uncomfortable and impossible. So much so, that I fell in the middle of the night between the wall and the bed. We contemplated just sleeping on the floor a few nights. Also during the day it gets VERY hot in the hotel and rooms. We learned to keep our curtains closed and AC on but you are also 22 floors in the sky so I’d expect it to be warm to some extent. The breakfast was also decent. I will say I excepted more from a 5 star hotel as our other hotel breakfasts on our travels offered more, but overall it was good. I’d definitely still recommend this hotel but if you’re tall, get a room with 2 beds.
We stayed here 10 nights and this was a perfect hotel experience for us. The location is fantastic; just far away enough from the center to avoid crowds of tourists but within easy walking and metro distance to anything and everything Osaka. The room was small, as is common in Japan, but was very well designed, clean, and functional; large bathroom with a great shower and soaking tub. Our high floor (23rd) allowed us to watch beautiful sunsets from our window. The restaurant and bar downstairs both offer excellent selections (the restaurant serves high end French gastronomy at very fair prices). The bar is a popular place for locals enjoying afternoon tea. We found the teppanyaki restaurant on the 1st floor absolutely divine and visited the busy (but accessible) coffee/breakfast place (also on the 1st floor) several times and really enjoyed it. Only positive experiences here. I highly recommend it.
Small bit out of the centre but this hotel is so worth it. Stunning views from the 15F reception, we had a really good margarita on our first evening . We stayed on the 17F and had great views from our bedroom. Room was spacious and bed was comfy. Our only complaint was that the shower gel and shampoo wasn’t great… left our hair in weird condition compared to other Japan hotels we’ve been in. Overall a great stay!
