Lively youth hostel set over a neighborhood bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with cozy bunks. We loved the excellent jazz nights, and the feel of being integrated into the lively Belleville neighborhood. We found the staff to be kind and very responsive. Their " Big Ass Break fast" is delicious and hearty, and they make the best "Grand Crème" we had in France. It's a space that keeps you coming back with it's quirky blend of Hosteling and neighborhood hangout. Surrounding Belleville is a multicultural melting pot, with excellent food, music and parks abounding and easy access to the rest of the city. The view from the rooftop terrace includes Sacré Coeur and the Eiffel tower, and is worth a visit on its' own terms. I have kept returning after multiple visits, and you can bet I will be back. Great experience in my first hostel, room are comfortable and good privacy as well as storage for luggage. Bathrooms were always clean and fresh. 24/7 was a blessing and they are all so friendly. Definitely recommend this as an affordable option in Paris
