Our stay here was amazing! The location is perfect and close to the downtown area. The room was stunning and well appointed. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. I only wish we had more time to enjoy everything else there was to see.

This was our first stay on our first hotel we stayed in on our New Zealand trip. The hotel was beyond our expectations. Bed was really comfortable and the hotel . The ambience was fantastic. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The gardens are within walking distance and a group of local eateries was great. Wished I lived closer so that I could stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. The hotel has a lovely vibe to it. I felt like a princess in my room. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The location to restaurants and the botanical garden was lovely. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great location right within the stunning stone-built Gothic-style buildings of the former university site. Wonderful that this accommodation is available enhancing the overall eclectic mix of uses within the site. The hotel has a range of rooms (and tariffs) and draws wonderfully in its decor and amenities on the very interesting building complex that it is a part of with interesting shops, galleries, cafes and more. As well it is very close to the public art gallery and only a short walk across the Avon River to the large range of riverside eateries etc which are in that part of the city.
