Upon checking in, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, making our stay feel even more special. The George Hotel’s mix of modern style and heritage charm, along with its prime location, made it a perfect stay. This hotel is conveniently located near many famous food and drink spots as well as Penang's top tourist attractions, most of which are just a short walk away. The staff were attentive and welcoming, ensuring a memorable experience. I enjoyed my one night stay here and would like to return.

Chose to stay at The George from 15 to 18 May 25 after much research. I'm happy to say that it paid off as the stay was hospitable and comfortable! Checked in by Mr. Lim who was detailed and ready to share what to see and do in Penang for first timers. Ms. Heng was also lovely and welcoming and made sure we were all good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Water from tap was potable and first round of the mini bar was complimentary. Visited the pool and it was 1.2m deep. Good enough for a swim. However the water can be quite cold for some. Towels are available for use at the pool. Did not opt for the breakfast as there are too many options in the vicinity but saw that most guests enjoyed it. The welcome drink at the bar was lovely and exotic. Check out was also a breeze and our luggages were kept safe till ready to be collected. Special mention goes to Mr. Elan who made sure we were checked out nicely and received our feedback readily. All smiles and I'm sure all staff also rub off from his jovial character! Will be back to stay at The George if I'm back at Penang!
