Firstly the cons Hotel is not that near to train stations. At least a 7min walk to zhongshan station and a 15min walk to Taipei main. They do not provide toiletries and they only provide hand soap and also a multi-purpose hair and body wash all in one. No conditioner or lotion. The pros The hotel is situated away from the main roads so its not too noisy. Surrounding the hotel are family mart, 7 11, several eateries, cafes, Japanese restaurants, PX mart is just opposite the hotel, massage places etc. so its pretty self sustainable and convenient to amenities. The hotel provides free self service laundry on level 2 and also provides detergent and softener. There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for use. I feel that there should be signs on how to operate the machine especially the dryer. The temperature listed there is confusing. On the knob it says 200. Is it 200 Deg Celsius? Is this an oven to bake the clothes? So for the initial 2 nights our clothes couldn't dry despite being in the dryer for over an hour as the temperature setting was very different from what we were used to. Another thing is that there is no timer option for the dryer. So we had no idea how long more to wait for the dryer when they were in use and had to keep coming down to check, which was quite annoying. AC was adjustable and strong. We had the larger room without balcony, it was spacious enough and comfortable and modern. the bathroom came with a standing shower and bathtub. The water pressure at the shower was superb! Was like showering under a waterfall. Toilet was automatic bidet type and was so nice to have a warm toilet seat when it was cold. Although the lifts indicated the highest tonne 12 storeys, the hotel was probably only 5-6 storeys high. Overall it was a good comfortable stay and I would recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Tango Inn Zhongshan! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was clean, well-appointed, and provided all the comforts I needed for a relaxing stay. The amenities, including the 24-hour lounge and free laundry facilities, were excellent, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location is also perfect, with easy access to two convenience stores and a variety of eateries. Overall, my stay has been fantastic, and I would love to extend my time here a little longer. A late checkout would be greatly appreciated to enjoy just a bit more of this wonderful hospitality! ? Highly recommend Tango Inn Zhongshan to anyone looking for a great stay in Taipei!

Tango Inn has the best staff on reception ! With their welcoming attitude and warm greetings, they’re always ready to help with whatever you need. A super plus point was the free laundry room situated on the second floor equipped with detergent, softener and even a dryer. The Inn is situated about 13mins by foot either to Taipei Main Station or Zhongshan so you get the best of both worlds ! Not to mention the abundance of bus stops that quite literally gets you everywhere. The restaurants and cafes within a 5minute walking radius are definitely helpful when you’re starting you day with a quick bite or ending your day tired and wanting to be nearby. There’s also a FamilyMart & 7-11 right at your doorstep for late night snacks, reloading your transport card & even for the ATM. Overall, this is one of my favourite places to stay in Taipei and I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a value-for-money and comfortable option !

This is my third time staying at Tango Inn Hotel in the past two years, and it’s always a great experience. The staffs are kind and helpful, no matter if I’m checking in late at night or checking out early in the morning — they’re always accommodating. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. I especially loved the one with the bathtub — such a relaxing touch. I’ve also stayed in a room with a balcony, which had a nice table and chair, perfect for reading and unwinding. I’ll definitely be back again! :)
