Very friendly staff and accommodating to our needs. We were able to check-in early at 1pm, which is really nice. The reception is also super helpful in booking taxis for us. The Hotel is very near the Bencoolen mosque, its easy for Muslims to perform their Friday prayers there (2 mins walk from the Hotel).

The best for this hotel is the location. Right at exit B of MRT station of Bencoolen (DT Blue line downtown), very easy to get everywhere, even from the airport. The staff is very nice and friendly too. You can refill drinking water at the lobby instead to buy water bottles which are expensive. The room is clean and soundproof. However the room service is relatively poor. You only have 2 bath towels and a bath mat, no hand and face towels. Although the water runs forcefully, the shower facilities have a lot of defaults. You even don't know shampoo or body wash in which container!

Location is good. Just right outside the Bencoolen MRT exit. There’s a 7/11 in the opposite road. Not many affordable restaurants around though (mostly bars and western style restos) Staff was nice and helped us booked a taxi. Rooms were very spacious and were cleaned every time we go out.

Comfortable & Affordable Stay Stayed at Strand Hotel Singapore for a few nights and had a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was decent for a good night’s sleep. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day. Good budget-friendly option. Would stay again.
