**Not safe for women/family**
I too booked seeing high ratings but don’t fall for it.

Stayed with my family. My mother and sister didn’t feel safe. Staff were extremely rude and lacked basic manners and etiquettes.

Room AC was not working one night.

Was served cold food for breakfast and the quality was very poor as well.

Location is inside a road where cabs are not allowed and is in a shady place. Not at all recommended for family.

Hotel Staybook is located in the unpleasant neighborhood of Paharganj, but it’s easily accessible from the metro or the train station. Importantly, booking a room at this hotel doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll stay there. The hotel is part of a chain that includes Hotel Atlanta, located a few streets away, where we were taken upon arrival. The photos of both hotels are misleading—the only accurate detail is the furniture layout. Cleanliness was average. The biggest plus was the friendly and helpful hotel staff and the fact that our room had a window. The stay wasn’t exactly an experience, but it wasn’t a nightmare either. Mixed feelings - overall, an average rating.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The first room that I got was very dirty. After talking to the staff, I had to get it upgraded. The second room was better but still a bit dirty.

They also turn off the A.C overnight and the room gets very hot, a fact that we were not told prior to booking.

Nitya Maharani hotel in Delhi is the worst hotel you can book for your holidays. I wish I could give it zero stars. Where do I even begin? First off, the guy was practically begging us to stay there, so we agreed, and it turned out to be a nightmare. The photos shown on Google are completely fake. Nothing is as it appears. The rooms are filthy, they don’t change anything—like bedsheets or towels—and there are stains everywhere. There was dust and hair in the room as well.

The first room we got had a terrible leaking issue above the toilet, making it completely unusable. The second room had a broken AC. When I called reception, they said they would turn it on, but the room stayed hot all night. I even had a fever and asked to extend our booking by just 4 hours, but they asked for an unreasonable extra amount of money, which was way too much for the poor service they were providing. When I called again, they were rude and told me to check out at the time we initially agreed on, just because I pointed out their terrible service. They had zero manners, zero ethics, and treated us horribly.

Everything was a disaster, including the hot water not working. The staff was rude, the location was hard to access, since our cab couldn’t even drive to the hotel. Complete waste of money. Avoid this place at all costs.

Amenities written on the website is not provided. If you wanted to avail any extra service you need to pay extra to them but they will not listen if they are unable to supply the amenities which is written in the website. When I checked in I found TV is not working mini fridge is not available and many other things they are unable to supply. After 5 hours of my check in they arrange mini fridge but actually it was not working it's just a showcase. I have shared the photo of rooms which are dusty and electric bulbs are in broken condition.

I would not recommend to visit hotel however I choose this hotel based on the Google rating but frankly speaking i believe most of the ratings will the fakes.
