Amazing, well-run hostel! The staff are fantastic, and everything is spotlessly clean. The beds are super comfortable, and the facilities are outstanding. There’s a gym, a cozy cinema, and the kitchen is the biggest and best I’ve ever seen in a hostel. The rooftop with the jacuzzi is the highlight. Well done to the management for running such an incredible place! Easily the best hostel in Melbourne, and they even let you use all the facilities after you check out

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, from beginning to end. Jeff at Reception was an absolute legend and honestly part of the reason I loved being here, as I properly felt looked after, rather than being a random guest. Would 100% recommend!

I'm from Sydney and regularly do long-distance with my partner who lives in Melbourne. On my recent trip, I stayed at Space Hotel and honestly, it was the best decision I could’ve made. The place exceeded all my expectations – clean, modern, super convenient location, and a great atmosphere. But what really made my stay unforgettable was the incredible staff – especially Murielle at reception. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for me. From helping with early check-in to giving great local tips and just being warm and welcoming every time I passed the desk, she truly made me feel at home. If you're in Melbourne – whether for a short trip, long-distance relationship visit, or anything in between – I highly recommend Space. I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I visit!
