Me and my partner have stayed at South Brighton Holiday Park on 2 separate occasions and both times the campsite has been an absolute delight. Great facilities, spacious spots for your tent or camper. The staff are lovely and friendly. They had no issue with us calling them later in the evening with a question about our camp spot and lovely Tim showed us to our spot who has lived on the campsite for 19 years. He also set out some chairs for us in the morning that we could relax on outside his camper house. Would highly recommend this spot as its a great location and a fantastic campsite with friendly staff!

Great place! Only thing was one of the workers tried to fight my dad… we were driving out and he wouldn’t move over in the road and kept charging toward us even when we were backing up. he then got out of his car, got all up in my dad face, swearing and yelling and threatening him. He said he worked there and tried to use that as a power trip… not sure telling a paying guest u work there when ur trying to beat them up is a good call but oh well. Besides that everything was amazing and the front staff were kind and bathrooms were clean. Hopefully they can talk to their aggressive worker about anger management and how to treat others, he must’ve skipped the basic kindergarten class were we learned something called respect !

This was our first paid campground on our South Island trip, and we were very pleased with our stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Before arriving, I sent an email asking about renting hiking poles in Christchurch, and the person I spoke to was very kind and provided great assistance. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, including the kitchen and showers. I highly recommend this place!

We stayed 2 nights over Easter. We enjoyed our stay From the moment we arrived we were very welcomed the lovely girl at reception was very friendly and helpful when checking in. As we were travelling in a motor home I asked about the local buses she gave me a detailed timetable and highlighted the correct bus etc to get into Christchurch and ideas on things to do. Plus gave us 2 Easter eggs ? Its a small park but has everything you need great camp kitchen. Amenities were clean with hot showers. Nice walk out to board walk overlooking the bay. The bus into Christchurch was $4 cash and takes about 45min. With a regular service. Highly recommend if you want somewhere quiet and relaxing.

Friendly service, good extremely clean amenities and services. We came after hours for powered site for our RV and Denise was in extremely kind and accomodating and opened up the holiday park for us.
