I had a wonderful time at Sofitel Xi’An. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive from the moment I walked through the door. Especially Andy Song and Will Liang. They helped me set up my Chinese App’s and explain how things work. They helped me schedule and optimise my trip, helping me with bookings, recommendations and local tips! My days were much better in Xi’An because of them. The rooms, breakfast and restaurants were amazing, as you would expect from the Sofitel Brand. Thank you Andy and Will for making my stay in Shaanxi memorable.

Impressive stay here - stayed for three days and this is one of the best Sofitel I v ever stayed in. Reasonable price for a junior suite- helpful and friendly staff - got free breakfast and free afternoon tea every day! And they quality was super. You also get free cocktail and champagne in daily free afternoon tea loads of choices on the menu. I was impressed by the quality. Room was extremely quiet and comfy - was told that this place used to be part of the government and serving important political persons so it was maintained to the very high standard

Rooms were okay..could be better. My basin kept getting stuck with slow drainage even after calling the room service to come and unclog it. That aside, the breakfast buffet was pretty good imo, typical conti selection and local Chinese selection. Had some problems with checkout o. The hotel side but was assured a fix n indeed they meant it when they fix it. Amenities Rooms come with usb chargers TV was pointless even with local content, the quality seems like terrestrial broadcast where its fuzzy. You could request for adaptor plugs if needed. Toilet doesn't come with bidet despite being French owned. Temperature and chlorine controlled indoor pool, sauna and steam room on the 2nd Floor. Spa massage packages a little on the higher side and I personally don't recommend. Bar at the lobby. Service staff attentiveness was pretty good all round. Location feels private as it was in their private courtyard with other hotels so you don't need to worry about safety when you're at the hotel courtyard. To sum it..it was a pleasant stay. Thanks to all the staff for the great service!
