What a gorgeous hotel. The Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park did not disappoint. The grand foyer left a great first impression. Was fortunate enough to be able to check in 2 hours early and were pleasantly upgraded on arrival which was a great start to a special weekend getaway. Min from reception was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was amazing. Great view over Hyde Park with St Mary's cathedral peeking above the trees. The room was large, spacious and very clean with an equally impressive bathroom equipped with a bathtub and larger than expected shower. Breakfast was amazing and everything you would expect from a 5 star buffet breakfast. Spoilt for choice with the multitude of food stations full of amazing fresh and very tasty produce. The wait staff were friendly and extremely attentive leaving us wanting for nothing. Special mentions to Beau from the dining room, Paul at the egg station, Eunji from the coffee station and Andy at the Level 1 Bar. The fitness centre is well appointed and the pool, spa and sauna area were fantastic with the pool area having fantastic views of the city. Chris from Day Spa reception was very kind and welcoming. Overall this was probably the best stay had in all the time coming to Sydney and staying at an array of different hotels. Will definitely be back.

The perfect stay for my teenage daughter and me! We arrived early for a full day of shopping in the city, and being able to park onsite before check-in was so convenient. The location couldn’t have been better—right across from David Jones and ideal for the shopping and dining experience we were after. We loved being able to walk to the Opera House and The Rocks for dinner and breakfast. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The beds were super comfortable, it was quiet at night, and everything was spotless. Clean, comfortable, and perfectly located—just what we needed!

Our stay at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, the experience was top-tier. We were warmly greeted and pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Club Executive Room—spacious, elegantly furnished, and perched on a high floor with stunning views. A lovely personal touch: my daughter was gifted a delightful Easter set with hot cross buns—a thoughtful gesture that truly stood out. The buffet breakfast deserves a special shoutout. With an incredible spread including flavorful dishes from the subcontinent, it even outshone the W (yes, that W—one of Marriott’s flashiest offerings). Impressive! The pool area was immaculate, and the heated pool and hot tub were perfect for winding down. The kids had an absolute blast—so much so that we barely had to plan extra activities. Hands down, one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Australia so far. Comfort, service, and attention to detail were all on point. Already looking forward to our next visit!

I stayed four nights at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park for business and was impressed. The location is fantastic - allowing quick access to downtown, the Convention Center, and client meetings. Transit from the airport was seamless and efficient. My executive room provided ample space and all necessary amenities for a productive work week. The breakfast buffet offered excellent variety and consistently high quality throughout my stay. The executive lounge became my go-to spot for coffee and informal meetings - well-managed with a good selection of refreshments and impressive views. When we suddenly needed a meeting room, staff arranged one within 10 minutes - this responsiveness was invaluable during a packed business schedule. The only slight drawback was occasional street noise during busy hours, though it never disturbed my work or sleep. Overall, this well-run hotel made my business trip significantly easier with its ideal location, comfortable accommodations, and professional service. Highly recommended for business travelers to Sydney.

First time staying in the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park hotel, and it was absolutely amazing. Perfect for my family and I. The check-in process was super quick and easy. Both my rooms were ready way before the 3pm check-in time. The checkout process was even quicker than the check-in. I'm definitely visiting again and going to stay a lot longer.
