This property is situated at New Delhi by the Ashoka Road at a distance of around 2km from the main Connaught Place area and around 2 km from the glorious India Gate. The hotel looks amazing from the front as well from the reception. The front area is beautifully designed with mirrors, sculptures, artefacts ans what not! The rooms are very well designed, quite neat and clean and with all the required amenities. They have tea maker, iron with board, welcome fruits, welcome notes and everything you may need in the room immediately one checks in. But the size of the rooms are little small and particularly for twin sharing basis. The wide window of the room gives an amazing view of the city and the main road which is so pleasing all the time. The room decor is very nice with at the position of all the furniture. The washroom is also spacious and neat and clean and staffed with all the required toiletries. We had our annual sales conference in this hotel which was well managed. They have a big conference room in this hotel. The food quality of this hotel is quite good, specially the veg ones. One gets the authentic North Indian veg cuisines here at this hotel. Special mention to the wide spread of buffet breakfast options. They literally have given thought of everything one can opt for in the breakfast. Apart from many veg and non veg dishes, I have particularly liked the juice counter to have juices of one's choice and of course the elderly person offering tea or coffee which had a different Indian taste!! Only point of concern is little rude behaviour from few of the attendants in the food service and the front desk. They need to be better listeners and warmer to the customers who are paying a premium to stay in this property. Apart from few such things, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable. They have a small gym in this hotel and the swim pool was under maintenance during our stay. There is a garden area which is separately booked for any marriage and other celebration and the area is also very well decorated. They have a very good security check in at the entrance. The lift service was not so impressive though, time and again we had to come across many breakdowns in between the floors which also needs attention from the management. Overall, the experience was nice and we also had a prompt house keeping service which is very essential. It was an enjoyable stay.

This 5-star hotel is located just minutes away from India Gate and Rajpath. We would like to thank Sunil Dutt for providing an excellent service as returning guests. Mr Dutt was exceptional as we had a few issues during our stay last year. We are fully confident to stay here in the future. We recommend the Shangri-la to anyone looking to stay in Delhi. The location is perfect. Unfortunately, on this occasion the spa and pool were out of service. We do looking forward to using the facilities on our next visit. Just want to add the staff in the restaurant are superb. Very attentive.

A busy hotel. Nice room's setting, clean and comfy. The breakfast is the highlight as it offers more choices compared to other hotels I have visited. The gym and pool is under renovation during my stay. Small gym is available.
