Staying at Sea Breeze Guesthouse in Negombo was exactly what I needed—a place that feels less like a guesthouse and more like being welcomed into a local family. Shehan, Shehani, and Marlon are absolute legends. From the moment I arrived, they treated me like a friend rather than just another guest. They didn’t just hand me a room key—they showed me the heart of Negombo. From introducing me to the local area and the community to sharing insights on the best foods, their kindness and trustworthiness made my stay feel effortless and full of good vibes. The guesthouse itself? Super cozy, with everything you need to feel at ease. It’s close to the beach, perfect for catching sunsets or getting some work done with the sound of the waves in the background. But honestly, it’s the people here that make the difference. If you’re a traveler looking for more than just a place to crash—somewhere you can connect, recharge, and feel at home—Sea Breeze Guesthouse is where it’s at. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Negombo again.

Sea Breeze is in an excellent location and is a safe space for solo female travellers. The service was excellent, both Vishan and Marlon went the extra mile. They have good knowledge of places to eat good local foods, sightseeing and travelling. They also provide baggage storage at cost. Low rating for room is due to dated ensuite.

We had a short but pleasant stay at Sea Breeze. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests with great attentiveness. Their hospitality truly stood out. For those looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay, I highly recommend Sea Breeze for a relaxing and enjoyable your vacation.
