The hotel had excellent customer service and a very good swimming pool where you could actually swim for exercise. The rooms were clean and thoroughly cleaned every day. The staff was friendly, and everything agreed upon was delivered as promised. I also booked transportation to my next destination through the hotel, and it arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. The car was a new luxury Toyota, and the driver was friendly and drove responsibly. The price was also more affordable than what travel agencies elsewhere would have charged. Anyway, It's always worth paying a little extra for excellent, exclusive service. If I visit Pattaya again, I will definitely choose this hotel again. The price-quality ratio was excellent. Full points!

Nice hotel located in the 2nd road 5 min walk from walking street and opposite Garden Plaza shopping mall. Most of the costumers were Europeans complaining other hotels and swimming pool area was nice and sunny. Breakfast was average but not bad although some things were missing

Great hotel. Has all the necessities. TV, fridge, air-con, big bed, WIFI, balcony. Recessed from a main street so noise is not an issue. 7/11 right outside if needs drinks, panadol, smokes etc. Cool with girl visitors. It's also a kinda well-known older hotel, so when I need to get back anytime, I just showed a scooter driver the hotel key card, which has the address if needed, but all the rides I got home were simple easy. And I just gave the drivers 100bht ($5 aussie)from wherever they pick me up from and they always happy with that. First time in Pattaya so was a little bit apprehensive about getting stuck but was never an issue. Back to the hotel.. shower in bath, which is OK. The bathroom has a door, so sound privacy if have company which is good. Saw a friends hotel and it was really flash, but all glass. A midnight bowel movement could be more intimate than the previous few hours. All in all, very happy with the Royal Palace Hotel, Pattaya.

The location is great, on 2nd Road - an easy walk to the beach and most places of interest in Pattaya. The car park is huge, but not covered. Swimming pool is nice, but very little shade so pretty hot until about 4pm. Rooms are large and the aircon is powerful enough to keep it cool. 1000 baht deposit required for each room, but after 3 or 4 stays I've never had any issue getting the full deposit back when checking out.

The most important in traveling that i have to stay in a clean hotel and this is one of them,room are very clean,big nice pool, quiet hotel away from noise and about 70 meter from busy street where you can find taxi,grocery,massage,restaurants....
