Probably the best hotel in Beijing — worth the additional cost over competitors (I stayed at The Peninsula earlier during the same trip and this beats it easily). The rooms are some of the best designed that I’ve seen — very meticulously structured and finished, cozy yet very modern. I was very surprised to learn that the hotel is 10+ years old. Food options are also excellent — breakfast is very tasty, room service is also very good — but the standouts are the Chinese restaurants in the hotel. Country Kitchen has the maybe best duck I’ve ever had. Service is good — in general, Chinese standards and culture of customer service is very different from the Middle East and the West but the service at the hotel was great. They even allowed me to stay in my room until 7:30pm for only half night charge. Highly recommended, and I will never stay anywhere else if I come back to Beijing.

This was our first stay in a Rosewood property, and it certainly won't be our last. The hotel itself is amazing. Beautifully decorated and a classy but not stuffy vibe. I loved how put together everything was. The property is about 10 years old but looks very new. The gym looks completely new (maybe it is, who cares as long as it's nice). The pool looked amazing (upset with myself that I didn't bring any swimmers). They also have a reformer machine and a DOG TREADMILL. Service was fantastic, as you would expect from a Park Hyatt/St Regis level. The concierge were extremely helpful. The view from the rooms is decent, we stayed on the 16th floor but it felt like we were higher. You get to awe at the CCTV HQ but that's about it. The location is ok-ish. It's not connected to any malls, but a short walk to Beijing Fortune Center where there are some shops and eateries, and is very close (like 200m) to a Siji Minfu duck restaurant 四季民福烤鸭店(呼家楼店) that is NOT listed on Google maps. Also, the in-house Michelin restaurant House of Dynasties has a really good set lunch that was amazing and quite a steal IMHO because you get to sample a wide range of dishes. From the hotel we easily got a Didi to go to nearby malls (like The Place, where they have a huge supermarket Hippo Fresh 盒马鲜生 and some good eateries in the basement.

I had a good night's sleep at Rosewood Beijing, the hotel is very beautiful, luxurious design, perfect in every detail. I really like the swimming pool here, the spacious room gives a pleasant feeling. The receptionist is very professional when I had a bleeding hand, the staff got me bandages and even gave me extra ones, it feels really warm.???

I really like this hotel; everything here is perfect. The hotel has a pleasant fragrance, and the staff are very attentive. I had a very good night’s sleep. This is a perfect choice when visiting Beijing ?
