receptionist (Kurt) was really accomodating and sensitive to needs.he was able to deal with our requests, ie. booking extension, parking, open doors automatically for us. he is cheerful and brings positive vibes to guests. tidy and modern kitchen. spacious studio. perfect if with bath tub. we loved our stay. free NZ snacks.how thoughtful!

Roomie apartments are absolutely fantastic. We stayed here when visiting family and loved it so much we ended up booking a few extra more days. The room is super spacious and well equiped. The bed was big and comfortable. The kitchenette area was well stocked and the larger fridge comes in handy. Obsessed with the shower!! We have stayed in many hotels all over the world and I had the best showers in this bathroom! The shower head is amazing! The rooms are really quiet too. There is a laundry and dryer area located downstairs. The staff were all very friendly. The location is actually really good, the train station is literally across the road. We will definitely be back when we have stop overs in Auckland, we usually stay at the hotels near the airport but would prefer to stay here.

This place is awesome! I sent 2 messages on Agoda prior to arrival and both received a reply within minutes. Excellent communication! Wonderful check-in experience with Farhad. He explained that the building was constructed back in 2020, but had remained mostly closed during the pandemic. It’s only been fully occupied for the past two years, so everything appears to be quite new. Avondale station is right across the street so super easy train access to anywhere in Auckland. Also wanted to complement the following staff members for their excellent service: Kurt and Kamal - front desk Monique and Shandy - housekeeping team

I highly recommend Roomie! We stayed in February 2025. We are from Ireland, and we used Roomie as a base when travelling around NZ . We had all the security of a hotel and all the freedom of an apartment. The beds were comfortable and the apartments were very comfortable and clean.The water pressure in the shower was great . We had lovely showers there. The staff were wonderful, every time you went to the desk you knew you would get help with a smile. I can't complement them enough. The communication via email before our stay was prompt and helpful. We had connections to Avondale so it was an ideal location for us but if you don't have any connections to Avondale, it is still a great location as the train is across the road from the apartment hotel. You can get the train to New Lynn and there is a mall there with a big supermarket or to Mt Albert to Pak N' Save a cheaper supermarket. It also goes to Britomart, where you can get to the viaduct in central Auckland. There is also a shop around the corner if you need some essentials. Try to book direct as you get some extra perks like free laundry and early check-in than if you use a 3rd party website.
