We had a wonderful stay at the Riviera Resort. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. The service very good. The rooms and cabins have comfortable beds and a nice view. The location is great. We enjoyed the green environment and community life. We appreciated the care for the environment and the local culture.

Rivera Resort in Batticaloa is the perfect place to unwind after a long day’s work. Set right beside the peaceful lagoon, it offers stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere. There’s nothing better than enjoying a cold beer. The food is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

We've dined here a couple of times. Service is slow, food is average, but sadly, the prices are high. The ambiance, (though not AC) is the main attraction. Staff (like everyone in SL) is friendly and courteous.

Really nice chill spot to relax if you’re traveling the east coast. Would defenitly recommend it, staff is extremely friendly, and nice local food which is reasonably priced. They even let me stay at the pool after check out:)
