The staff though hard in speaking English tried their very best to help you. From my Dollar exchanged to Yuan , packed breakfast for my early flight, and to arranging our transportation back to the airport. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay.
Hotel location was great. 10min to walk to subway and surrounded by shops and places of interest. Streets infront were busy but hotel room was quiet. Staff at front desk, Mary Wang, was friendly and very helpful. Housekeeping and breakfast crew were very good too. Overall a good hotel to stay. Edited to add: the breakfast place on 4F served ala carte lunch and dinner. The dishes were very good, and prices reasonable.
Had a stay at the hotel, one of the staff 小格 was super friendly and even helped me with my parcel delivery even when I have not reach China. The hotel is very comfortable and was close to many attraction.
Highly recommend this hotel located very close to shops, restaurants, and short walk to the Xian Bell Tower attraction. Many great restaurants nearby and convenience stores. The hotel is elegant and well designed but showing its age. Rooms are luxurious with full amenities. Comfortable bed. Heating was insufficient for the winter because room was very cold. Good breakfast buffet. Concierge was helpful.
Stayed for four nights at this centrally located hotel close to all the major attractions of Xi’an. Enjoyed a very comfortable stay with the reception staff especially willing to ensure that all my requests were met despite my limited Mandarin Chinese skills. In this regard a big thank you to Mary Wang who was always courteous, patient and good humoured to ensure that my stay was trouble free. Should also point that I opted to go to see the Terracotta Army through an agent opposite the main reception area. They also offer a transportation service for other attractions outside of the city. If you decide to go for this option to see the main draw of Xi’an, one should manage their expectations. Having said that, I should have taken the name of the lady who arranged my excursion who - even though English is not her native language - went out of her way to ensure that the day out went smoothly. In this regard, my experience was that the transportation does not pick one up directly outside the hotel but round the corner by the Russian style clock tower. This may differ according to the traffic? To be fair, on the day of my excursion the traffic was exceptionally heavy…all part of the experience of travel! Otherwise, as other reviewers have mentioned many excellent restaurants located in the vicinity of the hotel. One can sample many fine examples of the local Shaanxi cuisine and of course the local fare on offer in the nearby Muslim district. Overall, in my view this place offers budget luxury. Certainly when compared to their European equivalents.
