It's very centrally located. Tunjungan is a good area for tourists. The reception staff speaks quite good English. The lifts are Hyundai brand. No issues there. The TV does not have HD channels so it's not enjoyable watching TV. The bed is very comfortable, no sagging mattress. Get a room on the high floors and the views of the city is spectacular. Surabaya is on flat ground with very few high rise buildings - hotel offers 360 degrees unobstructed views. Restaurant is on the 17th floor - I was blown away by the wide spread of breakfast. Outdoor seating available, can dine with good views. Checkout experience was very nice too - all done (including room inspection) in less than a minute. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

We stayed at Platinum Hotel Tunjungan for a family short escape and had a pleasant experience. The breakfast was a highlight, offering an impressive variety — from a small sushi stall and a wide selection of Indonesian dishes to serious pastries, plus cotton candy and popcorn that kids loved. The pool and gym were also great; the gym equipment looked well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, with plenty of coffee shops nearby and easy access to Car Free Day on Sunday mornings. Bathroom amenities were standard but complete, with both big and small towels provided. Also hair dryer and iron.

The high-floor room offered a great view and was very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. I had just gotten off a red-eye flight and was feeling a bit groggy, but they remained patient during our conversation and did their best to help me understand. I’ll definitely stay here again next time!

Nice and worthy hotel, will stay again if visit this city back. Breakfast, bedroom, all the facilities are excellent. Most of the service crew are very polite except 1 lady who massage therapist, her face was so emotional and not willing to communicate with us, this really lower down my experience in this hotel, and somemore i paid extra for the massage service, its not worth it with this attitude. Can skip the massage next time.

My first time here. The location was great. In the heart of surabaya.when i enter the lobby i can not feels the ambiance of 4 star hotel. The staff amazing friendly and helpful. The lobby need improvement .in arrangements, the smells of the air , the cold of the ac. And yes the elevator super slow.need patience.i booked no smooking room, not smoker when i enter the room yes the room smells smoke. I booked 2 rooms and both smells smoke. The breakfast perfect for foodie,delicious.
