Stayed for a four-night stretch and the service here was fantastic. We arrived around 8AM, and the person working the check-in desk actually offered to call us once our rooms were available (never had that happen anywhere in the world). Upon check-out, we were given some additional time without any hassle. I know this isn't always possible, but the effort shown by the staff to allow us access to our rooms was very much appreciated. The rooms themselves were very comfortable and quiet. Some of the furnishings were a bit dated or worn, but the beds felt new, and the rooms/linens/bathrooms were very clean. We were given two adjoining rooms on the ground floor that were behind a fire door, so we had a lot of privacy as a small group. The layout of the hotel itself lends itself well to privacy overall, in four days we might have run across five or six other guests in the hallways. I've been coming to London for over a decade as a business traveler, and as a general rule, hotel rooms in London are a bit on the small/dated side. These rooms were some of the most better ones I've stayed in. For folks considering this place for a trip to London, the location was extremely convenient. Easy access to both the tube and the bus, as well as the M4 if you're taking a taxi to/from LHR. There are also quite a few local restaurants and attractions within a 15 minute walk. Overall, highly recommend.

Comfy bed. Decently clean room and good service from the staff. Solid location close to the gloucster road underground station. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if the room didn't keep heating up all the time, causing us to need to use the AC (noisy). The only window seemed broken. The rooms doors are weighty and as such made a lot of nosie when shut. Hotel was quiet for the most part, with the exception of guests entering and leaving their room. We opted out of breakfast to save some money. The hotel gym is small and limited but it gets the job done to maintain your gains. This hotel is perfectly fine for the price.

A beautiful old hotel on Cromwell Road, just a 4 minute walk to Gloucester Road Underground/Tube, from where you can travel anywhere. There are plenty of good eateries in the area. The hotel is nicely decorated in a classic style. They offer a rich breakfast buffet, with both hot and cold choices, in the dining room. Reasonably sized rooms, comfortable beds with nice linen, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe in room, clean bathroom, beautifully decorated foyer. We had a very pleasant stay.

My wife and I were upgraded to a suite with no charge to us and it was so nice. The breakfast was delicious and the staff service was amazing. The location is great as there is a grocery store a few minutes away and it’s close to the tube as well. I would recommend!
