We are Globalists and came to NYC to attend our daughter's performance at Carnegie Hall. This hotel is perfectly positioned across the street and close to many subway lines and Central Park. PHNY has been a bucket list hotel for a long time! We were upgraded to a one bedroom city view suite - ours didn't have a separate living room, but it was spacious which was so helpful because we had friends come in for a play date and we had 5 people over post-show for some snacks. The soaking tub fit was great and I think the rain shower changed my husband's life. My 5.5 yo was obsessed with the pool. It was always empty when we went. I loved the steam room and really wished I could've used the gym. We stay in a lot of nice hotels and this was the best. Globalists get free parking (amazing value because it's $90 per night) and we got our friends to use this benefit since we didn't have a car. We also get free breakfast at the restaurant or in-room. The latter was so helpful on the last day so we could eat and pack at the same time. The service was great - from the staff at the restaurant to housekeeping. Huge shout out to Joyce G. for taking care of us.
Our stay has been nothing short of extraordinary, this has truly been the most special and thoughtful experience we’ve ever had on a trip. A heartfelt thank you to Jeanette and Chris for going above and beyond. Your kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. You made our son Jack feel seen and celebrated, and turned my wife’s birthday into something unforgettable. From the stuffed animals and teepee to the handwritten cards and delicious cake, every touch was full of joy and intention.
Thank you for the exceptional service and hospitality. I stayed in room #1715, and Marie-Pierre, who checked me in, was absolutely amazing. I requested an upgrade, and she provided me with the best suite, especially since I arrived during the MET Gala. She was incredibly lovely throughout my entire stay. Then there’s Michael Sinatra, who is the best concierge I have ever met. He consistently provided me with recommendations for great places to visit, including boat tours, shows, activities, shopping, and wellness options. His personal attention was remarkable, showcasing a five-star level of service and truly being a credit to this hotel. We did have a few minor issues in the room, but Ben Nikolai, the front office manager, came personally to apologize and offered solutions, which I appreciated. I also want to express my gratitude to a woman whose name I unfortunately do not remember. She was handling a very special matter on Tuesday, May 8, in the afternoon. Marie knows who she is, so please extend my thanks and blessings to her for her meticulous care. This was my second time staying with you, and your team made my visit even more special. I hope to see you again soon! Thank you! Ms. Saoufi Room #1715
I have wanted to stay at the PH NYC for a while now but finally had a chance when a friend of ours ran the NYC 1/2 Marathon last year. We were very pleased with our 1 night stay. The staff was welcoming, professional and courteous. From the moment we checked it, we felt a positive vibe already which set the tone for our stay. Almost every staff we came across said hi or showed a friendly smile. Being a Globlist, we were upgraded to a suite at check-in and offered 4pm late check out which worked perfectly as our friend completed his run near noon which gave us time to have lunch before we checked out (we were 2 mins pasted 4 but the receptionist were very understanding and gave us an additional 30 mins to pack & check out). We also had complimentary breakfast at the Living Room which was very nice in ambience. The food was delicious and staff were professional. The hotel & room were clean and nicely decorated. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again.
